Each link contains full facts sheets, of information on each membership grade and includes all the relevant application forms. Please make sure you read ALL of the fact sheets carefully on the particular grade of membership that you are interested in. Affiliate Membership If you are considering becoming an affiliate member- everything you need to know, including all the fact sheets and application forms is on the link below: Important
- Affiliate membership is those people who do not have any qualifications in Building Services but who have an interest in industry. For example, if you are doing project work for A level or the Advanced Diploma in Engineering or Construction and the Built Environment, you will find CIBSE membership very useful .
- This membership means that you are not working towards gaining your chartered status (MCIBSE CENG) but that you still receive the basic benefits of being a full member.
- You can not put AFFCIBSE after your name – this is not a professionally recognised post nominal in any form, profession or industry.
